We had names picked out for quite a long time, and although Ezekiel (strong, powerful, prophetic Old Testament leader) was the boy-frontrunner for a majority of our pregnancy, Maggie found a diamond in the rough. "Mayes" means "child/son of Matthew", and from the moment we saw him, our decision was made. Not an easy process, though...
